At Hearing Plus, we strive to ensure complete satisfaction with our products and services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds, exchanges, or credits may be granted for hearing aids and other audiological services.
Hearing Aids and Devices
We understand that adjusting to hearing aids takes time. That’s why we offer a trial period and a refund option, subject to the terms below:
Trial & Return Period
- Most hearing aids purchased at Hearing Plus come with a 7-day trial period from the date of fitting.
- If you are not satisfied with your hearing aids, you may be eligible for a refund or exchange within this trial period.
- Devices must be returned in good condition, along with all accessories, manuals, and packaging.
Deduction Charges
- A nominal service/restocking fee (minimum ₹2,000/- and maximum ₹10K) may be deducted from your refund to cover professional fitting, programming, and handling costs. This will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase.
Non-Refundable Items
- Custom-made hearing aids (e.g., IIC or CIC types made specifically for your ear) are non-refundable and chargeable, unless found to be defective.
- Any accessories, such as batteries, earmolds, tubes, or cleaning tools, are also non-refundable and chargeable once used or opened.
Hearing Aid Repairs & Servicing
- Charges for repairs or servicing are non-refundable once the service has been completed.
- If a service is not performed due to product damage beyond repair, we will notify you and discuss alternate options.
Consultation & Audiological Services
- Fees for diagnostic tests, consultations, or therapy sessions (e.g., hearing assessments, speech therapy) are non-refundable once the service has been rendered.
- If you need to reschedule or cancel, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges, or else we will charge you for that.
Hearing Aid Warranty and Replacements
- Hearing aids are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, which may vary by brand and model (the standard warranty typically lasts 1–2 years).
- If your device has a manufacturing defect, we will facilitate repair or replacement as per the warranty terms. Please note that the manufacturing defect should be confirmed by the manufacturer.
- Warranty does not cover loss, physical damage, battery leakage, or moisture damage unless you have purchased an extended protection plan. We highly recommend that you follow the care and maintenance tips as advised during purchase or as mentioned in the product manual.
How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund, return, or exchange request:
- Contact the clinic where you purchased the device, or email us at info@hearingplus.in.
- Provide your invoice number, purchase date, and reason for return.
- Our team will evaluate your request and guide you through the next steps.
Processing Time
- Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days to the original payment method.
- Refund timelines may vary based on your bank or payment provider.
